READING : MY TEACHER

My name is Lynn Meng. Iam a teacher at the Institute for Intencive English at Union Country College. Union Contry College is in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Elizabeth is a big city. People from all over the world live in this city. We have a large English as a Second Language (ESL) program. More than 1,800 students are studying ESL. Our students are from 72 defferent countries and they speak 80 defferents languages. We have 70 teachers. I teach Level 3 and Level 5.

The students are friendly and talkative. They study hard. I love my job!
My students like to ask me questions. Where are you from? Are you married? How old are you? I am from the United States. I live in New Jersey. I´m married and I have two daughters. One is in high school, and one is in college. My husband is from china He is a librarian. don´t ask my age! I always say that I´m 25.

Yo soy de la Universidad del estado. Y o vivi en nueva jersey. Yo soy casada y tengo dos hijas. una es en alta escuela, y la otra en un colegio. mi marido es de china. el es bibliotecario. al preguntar mi edad digo 25.
